Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how ArgonAds (“Argon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about visitors to our website at https://argonads.com (the “Site”) and customers of the advertising services available through the Site, including our campaign planning tools, creative Studio, and connected TV (“CTV”) campaign launch and reporting services (collectively, the “Services”).
By visiting the Site or using the Services, you agree that your information will be handled as described in this Policy. Your use of the Site and Services, and any dispute over privacy, is also subject to our Terms of Service, including its limitations on damages and provisions for resolving disputes.
Argon is an advertiser-facing platform: our customers are businesses that create and run television advertising campaigns. This Policy covers the information we collect from and about those customers and from visitors to our Site. Delivery of ads to viewers’ televisions and streaming devices is performed by the CTV advertising and media partners we work with, under their own privacy practices.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a password, or — if you sign in with Google — the name, email address, and profile details Google shares with us.
- Business information. To build campaigns you may provide information about your business, such as its name, website, social media links, street address or map listing, logos and images, and notes used to personalize your advertising.
- Campaign information. The campaign settings you choose, including budgets, schedules, and the geographic areas you target.
- Creative content. Video commercials you upload, and the inputs you provide to our Studio along with the video creatives generated from them.
- Communications. Information you submit through our contact form or when you correspond with our support team.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are provided directly to Stripe; we receive limited information such as payment confirmation, amount, and status, and we do not store full card numbers.
Information We Collect Automatically
- Your IP address, browser type, device, and operating system
- Pages you view, links you click, and the referring URL
- Usage and diagnostic logs we maintain for reliability and security
Campaign Delivery and Performance Data
When your campaigns run, we receive delivery and performance reporting from our CTV advertising partners — for example impression counts and delivery pacing. This reporting is associated with your campaigns; it does not identify individual viewers to us.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Site and Services, including your account
- To build, review, launch, manage, and measure your advertising campaigns
- To generate video creatives you request through the Studio
- To process payments and maintain billing records
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- To secure the Services and prevent fraud and abuse
- To understand how the Site and Services are used so we can improve them
- To send you service and transactional notifications
- To send you product news and marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
AI-Generated Creative
Our Studio uses third-party AI and media-generation providers to produce video creatives from the business information and inputs you provide. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your business inputs or generated creatives to train general-purpose or foundational AI models.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, measure how it is used, and understand the effectiveness of our advertising. You can block or delete these technologies using your browser settings.
- Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function, including sign-in sessions and the security services (such as Cloudflare) that protect the Site from malicious traffic.
- Analytics and advertising measurement. We use tools such as Google Analytics, PostHog, and Meta Pixel to understand site traffic, see where customers stop during campaign setup and payment, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. In the signed-in customer app, analytics are pseudonymous: they use internal user and account identifiers and your user role, and exclude names, email addresses, creative content, and payment-method details.
- Error monitoring. We use Sentry to detect and diagnose application errors.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not function properly without them.
How We Share Your Information
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf under contract, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (SendGrid), sign-in (Google), analytics, error monitoring (Sentry), cloud hosting and storage, website security (Cloudflare), and the AI and media-generation providers that power the Studio.
- CTV advertising partners. To launch and deliver your campaigns, we share your ad creatives, campaign settings, and targeting parameters with the connected TV advertising and media partners that place your ads.
- Your account members. Information about your businesses and campaigns is visible to the other members of your customer account.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or harm to any person, or to enforce our agreements.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and billing records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account; some information may persist in backups for a limited period or where retention is required by law.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your password and devices and sign out after using shared computers.
Your Rights and Choices
- Account information. You can review and update your account and business information by signing in to your account.
- Marketing emails. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. We may still send transactional and account-related messages.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings. If we make an in-site consent control available, you can also use it to update your choices.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@argonads.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may ask for additional information to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
International Users
We operate the Services from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are designed for businesses and are intended for users 18 years of age or older. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we will delete it.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Site and Services may link to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
